The Senate has begun the screening of seven ministerial nominees named final Wednesday by President Bola Tinubu.
The screening exercised was held on the pink chamber on Wednesday after it was postponed on Tuesday.
The higher legislative home started with Nentawe Yilwatda, the nominee appointed to switch Betta Edu because the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Discount.
The Senate suspended its rule to confess the ministerial nominees.
Different appointees for screening are Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu nominated because the Minister of State International Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi nominated because the Minister of Labour and Employment, Jumoke Oduwole nominated because the Minister of Business.
Idi Maiha as Minister for the newly created Livestock Improvement Ministry, Yusuf Ata because the Minister of State, Housing and City Improvement, with Suwaiba Ahmad as Minister of State Schooling.

Final Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu sacked 5 ministers, re-assigned 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios and appointed seven new ministers for Senate affirmation.
