The Federal Excessive Courtroom in Abuja has adjourned the trial of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello to December 10 whereas ordering that he stay within the custody of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC).
The EFCC opposed Bello’s bail software throughout Wednesday’s proceedings. Bello, who has been charged with 16 counts of fraud, pleaded not responsible to all fees.
The court docket scheduled December 10 to listen to his bail software, and till then, he’ll stay in EFCC custody, based on SaharaReporters.
Earlier within the day, proceedings have been disrupted when a big crowd of Bello’s supporters induced a commotion within the courtroom.
Bello, who appeared on the Federal Capital Territory Excessive Courtroom on Wednesday, instructed his aides and followers to go away the courtroom to revive order.
