The Nigeria Police Power in Abuja has reported {that a} native physician, Ismail Usman, unintentionally shot himself whereas testing a “bulletproof” allure in Kuchibuyi Village, Kubwa.
The incident occurred on Friday, November 23, 2024.
In response to SP Josephine Adeh, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Usman tried to show the effectiveness of his self-made allure by capturing himself within the abdomen with a shotgun. Sadly, the allure failed, leaving him with critical accidents.
Cops from the Byazhin Division responded to a misery name from a resident, Shandam Michael, and located Usman in essential situation.
He was rushed to Kubwa Normal Hospital for emergency therapy and later transferred to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital for superior care.
A search of Usman’s house led to the restoration of the home made firearm and several other charms used within the failed experiment.
Authorities have confirmed that he’ll face expenses for illegal possession of firearms and tried suicide below Part 231 of the Penal Code Legislation of Northern Nigeria.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
