The Nationwide Affiliation of Proprietors of Personal Colleges (NAPPS) has reiterated its dedication to transparency, equity, accountability and loyalty within the affiliation because it elects new executives.
Talking at 2024 NAPPS Lagos State Congress Otunba Safiriyu Ganiyu, representing the Board of Trustees (BOT), famous that the shift in management underscores significance of transparency, accountability, and loyalty within the organisation.
Dr Bodunde Samuel was elected president following suspension and dissolution of the previous government committee, led by Chief Alaka Yusuf.
Others elected included Mrs. Yetunde Balogun, vice chairman; Mr. Yusuf Ibrahim, secretary; Mr. Adebisi Olabisi, monetary secretary and Mr. Olawale Cardozo, treasurer.
Ganiyu urged the leaders to stick to the organisation’s guidelines and rules, as mandated by CAC-approved NAPPS 2023 Structure.
He suggested them to recognise and respect solely CAC-recognised integrated trustees, upholding legitimacy of its governance construction.
“As NAPPS Nigeria strikes ahead, it’s essential for stakeholders to work collectively, prioritising progress and success of the organisation.
“To native chapters in Lagos State, I say the restriction on financial institution accounts of unlawful factions, which incorporates Lagos, Ekiti and unlawful factional nationwide physique has brought about concern amongst some native chapters.
