Lagos State College (LASU), Ojo, in collaboration with the Worldwide Convention of Group Psychology (ICCP), is ready to showcase Nigeria’s position in advancing world psychological science.
Throughout a courtesy go to to LASU’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, Dr Moshood Olanrewaju, a Professor at Aldler College in the USA, mentioned the occasion, themed: ‘Gathering within the motherland: Celebrating methods of the waters and reconnecting to the supply,’ is geared toward exploring the advantages of water in shaping human endeavours, at the same time as he emphasised the central position of water in human existence.
“Water, the life-sustaining power, nurtures all types of existence—legendary or actual. Water flows by and shapes landscapes, animating hills, mountains, forests, and various life varieties. Its transformative energy lies in its skill to adapt and movement by numerous circumstances,” Olanrewaju acknowledged.
He famous that the convention would replicate on water’s profound influence with the intention of gathering, reconnecting, and re-evaluating the place we stand as species and stewards of our planet.
The 2026 convention, he mentioned, seeks to channel the power of the collective movement again into the communities, fostering renewal, care, and development simply as water does.
He disclosed that the convention will host college students, famend specialists, esteemed worldwide psychology professors, and different allied professionals.
Olatunji-Bello, in her remarks, assured of seamless hospitality to foster an inclusive and enriching expertise for all attendees.
The VC pledged to contain all stakeholders, together with the Lagos State authorities, police, immigration providers, and conventional establishments, amongst others.
