A former commissioner of Rural and Group Improvement, Abbas Sani Abbas, has dumped the ruling New Nigeria Peoples Get together, NNPP in Kano for the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC.
Mr Abbas, who was not too long ago sacked alongside 5 different commissioners by Governor Abba Yusuf, was obtained into APC by Deputy President of the Senate Barau Jibrin.
“I welcomed Hon. Abbas Sani Abbas to our nice celebration, the All Progressives Congress (APC), a second in the past,” Mr Jibrin mentioned in a Fb publish.
“He served because the Commissioner for Rural and Group Improvement in Kano State till final month.
“Throughout a go to to us in Kano, he introduced his exit from the NNPP to the APC.
“Joined by the Chairman of our celebration in Kano State, Prince Abdullahi Abbas (Ɗan Sarki, Jikan Sarki), and different celebration leaders, we proudly embraced Hon. Abbas, a devoted grassroots mobiliser to our celebration.
“We assured him of our unwavering help as we work collectively to construct a greater future for the individuals of Kano State and, certainly, all Nigerians.

Previously few months, Mr Jibrin has obtained dozens of defectors from the NNPP.
