Three pastors have been kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers at Ejule in Ofu Native Authorities Space of Kogi State.
The incident occurred shortly after they ministered at an ongoing campaign within the city, in line with Day by day Belief.
The attackers reportedly ambushed the pastors alongside the Ejule-Ofakaga-Anyigba Highway round 11 pm on Monday, January 20, 2025, as they returned from the campaign floor.
One of many kidnapped pastors, recognized as Evangelist Gabriel Onaji, was a visitor minister on the three-day campaign themed “Ejule Gospel Campaign,” hosted by Evangelist Sunday Oguche, president of God’s Care Missions, Okpo.
“Evangelist Sunday Oguche seemed to be the goal of the abductors. The evangelist would have been kidnapped if not that he opted to spend the evening at Anyigba as a substitute of Ejule,” stated a supply.
Their automobile was later discovered deserted in Ofakaga village alongside the Ejule-Anyigba highway.
The abductors have demanded a N20 million ransom for his or her launch, in line with Ayefu John, a resident who attended the campaign and is conversant in one of many kidnapped pastors.
