Authorities of the College of Ibadan, Ibadan, in Oyo State, have directed college students of the establishment to proceed on a three-week break, DAILY POST experiences.

DAILY POST gathered that tutorial and non-academic actions have been paralyzed on account of the protest on Friday on the establishment.
The establishment, in an announcement signed by its Registrar, G.O. Saliu, famous that the choice to direct the scholars to go on break was taken following a gathering between the administration and the management of the scholars’ union.
Saliu, within the memo obtained by DAILY POST on Saturday, mentioned that the break is a chance for the scholars to finish their on-line registration.
He added that the 2023/2024 first-semester examinations will now begin on Monday, 23 September 2024.
Saliu additional maintained that the portal for registration will probably be closed on Friday, 20 September 2024.
He mentioned that each one college students dwelling throughout the establishment’s hostels are to vacate the hostels by 2:00 p.m. immediately (Saturday).

“The hostels will probably be reopened for college students from 12 midday on Friday, 20 September 2024.
