The member representing Gwaram federal constituency of Jigawa State within the Home of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Shitu Galambi, has defected from his celebration, the New Nigeria Folks’s Get together (NNPP), to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Galambi introduced his defection from the opposition to the ruling celebration in a letter learn by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen at resumed plenary of the Home on Thursday.
The lawmaker mentioned his determination to depart NNPP was as a result of lingering disaster within the celebration, which led to litigations and management disaster which have continued to have an effect on the celebration’s operation.
His defection introduced the entire variety of opposition lawmakers who defected to APC within the tenth Home of Representatives to 11. A few of the defectors included Hon. Chris Nkwonta (Abia), Hon. Eriatheke Ibori-Suenu (Delta), Hon. Suleiman Gumi (Zamfara), Hon. Amos Gwamna Magaji (Kaduna).
