The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC), by way of its Gombe Zonal Directorate, has arrested 21 suspected web fraudsters in Bauchi State.
The operation, which occurred on March 15, was primarily based on credible intelligence about their alleged involvement in cyber fraud. The arrests had been carried out in Kaure New Authorities Reservation Space and Awala, Maiduguri Street, Bauchi.
Recovered Objects
In keeping with Dele Oyewale, EFCC’s spokesman, a number of gadgets had been seized from the suspects, together with:
One BMW and Toyota Camry automobiles
Three PlayStation 5 consoles
30 costly cell phones
One flat-screen tv
Six Level of Sale (POS) machines
4 iPads
5 laptops
Authorized Proceedings Underway
The EFCC said that the suspects can be charged to court docket as quickly as investigations are concluded.
