No fewer than 300 vans belonging to the Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Firm Restricted (NNPC) have arrived on the Dangote refinery.
NNPC spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, confirmed the event in a video posted on his X deal with on Saturday.

Soneye said, “NNPC Ltd. vans are arriving on the Dangote Refinery in preparation for the scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024. By the top of at present, not less than 300 vans will probably be stationed on the refinery’s gasoline loading gantry.”
Chairman of the Federal Inland Income Service (FIRS), and a member of the Presidential Committee on the Sale of crude oil and Refined Product, Zacch Adedeji had introduced in Abuja on Friday that loading of the primary batch of petrol from the Dangote Refinery will begin on Sunday, September 15.
Talking with journalists, Adedeji The stated that from October 1, the NNPCL will begin the availability of about 385kbpd of crude oil to the Dangote Refinery to be paid for in Naira.
“I’m glad to announce that each one agreements have been accomplished and loading of the primary batch of PMS from the Dangote Refinery will begin on Sunday fifteenth September.”
He stated that Dangote Refinery will in return provide PMS and diesel of equal worth to the home market to be paid for in Naira.
Additionally, different agreements reached by the committee are the sale of Diesel in Naira by the Dangote Refinery to any off-taker whereas petrol will solely be offered to NNPC.
