“The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, needs to react to media studies linking its investigations of Aisha Achimugu with political undercurrents involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
“We want to state unequivocally that the investigations of Achimugu haven’t any correlation of any type with the 2 political actors. She is being investigated for alleged legal conspiracy and cash laundering and has since been declared Needed by the Fee.
