The African Union (AU) has appealed for a peaceable decision to the escalating violence in Mozambique following the overall elections held on October 9.
The Chairperson of the African Union (AU), Moussa Faki Mahamat’s assertion comes within the wake of great unrest that has resulted in a number of fatalities because the announcement of the election outcomes by the Mozambican Constitutional Council.
The AU chair reaffirmed their dedication to collaborating with the Mozambican Authorities, nationwide stakeholders, and regional our bodies such because the SADC to halt the violence and uphold constitutional democracy in Mozambique.
