The Ondo State Police Command has mentioned that the convoy of the President’s spouse, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, was not concerned in an auto crash that led to the demise of a seven-year-old lady in Akure, the state capital on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
The spokesperson for the Command, Olusola Ayanlade, in an announcement, mentioned the president’s spouse was on a go to to the state on Thursday to distribute empowerment kits and gear.
“Eyewitness accounts and preliminary investigations carried out by the Ondo State Police Command have confirmed that the incident was brought on by a hit-and-run driver working an unregistered white Lexus car — not by any car belonging to or related to the First Girl’s convoy,” the police mentioned.
