The Cross River State Impartial Electoral Fee (CROSIEC) has declared Hon. Egbala Bassey because the winner of Abi Native Authorities Council election.
Bassey was declared winner and returned elected because the Chairman of Abi Native Authorities Space, having scored 26,265 legitimate votes, representing 85.95% of the overall votes forged within the Saturday, November 2, 2024 Native Authorities Election.
The consequence and that of 17 different native authorities areas had been introduced by the Chairman of the Cross River State Impartial Electoral Fee (CROSIEC), Dr Ekong Boco, on Sunday.
Bassey was formally sworn in with 17 different native authorities chairmen and 196 councillors by Governor Bassey Otu, on Monday, in Calabar, the state capital.
