British monarch King Charles III has expressed his admiration for Nigerian singer Davido, revealing that his music made him fall in love with Pidgin English.
King Charles expressed a powerful need to talk Pidgin the subsequent time he visits Nigeria.
The monarch disclosed this within the new Apple Music present, The King’s Music Room, which premiered on Monday.
He unveiled his eclectic musical tastes through the present, naming Davido’s tune Kante, that includes Fave, as considered one of his favorite songs.
“Davido has made me love Pidgin language. I wish to converse it the subsequent time I go to Nigeria. Due to Afrobeats, it’s gaining popularity world wide,” Charles III acknowledged.
Davido, through his Instagram story, reposted the video as he gave a shout-out to the royal household.
