A police officer in Zambia has been arrested for allegedly releasing over a dozen prisoners so they may have fun New Yr’s Eve after he received intoxicated.
The 13 suspects had been in detention close to Kanyama, within the nation’s south, going through expenses together with assault, affray, and theft.
Detective Inspector Titus Phiri “forcibly seized cell keys” on Tuesday morning while “in a state of intoxication,” Zambia’s Police Service mentioned in a press launch on Wednesday, January 1.
