A Zambian police officer, reportedly inebriated, launched 13 detainees on New 12 months’s Eve to mark the celebration, sparking a manhunt for the escapees.
In line with the BBC, Inspector Titus Phiri allegedly took cell keys from Constable Serah Banda at Leonard Cheelo Police Station in Lusaka earlier than liberating people held for crimes comparable to assault, theft, and housebreaking.
