Ekiti State Educating Service Fee has promoted 6,129 educating and non-teaching employees in public secondary faculties within the state.
Chairman, Ekiti Educating Service Fee, Mrs Rhoda Ojo, stated the employees have been those that have been profitable within the just-concluded 2022/2023 promotion train within the State.
An announcement from the Fee made out there in Ado Ekiti on Thursday said that the TESCOM boss disclosed this in Ado Ekiti throughout a discussion board for educating and non-teaching employees of secondary faculties.
Ojo stated that letters of promotion had been dispatched.
“5,669 of the newly promoted employees are lecturers whereas the remaining 460 are non-teaching employees,” Ojo stated.
The TESCOM chairperson expressed pleasure that the wrangling amongst some lecturers’ teams, which initially stalled the promotion of secondary college lecturers within the state, had been resolved.
She urged the newly promoted employees to reciprocate the federal government’s gesture by being diligent and devoted to their duties.
“I urge our college principals to make sure full management of their faculties. Authorities is not going to tolerate hooliganism, violence and indiscipline in faculties,” she stated.
She assured that the state authorities would proceed to reward excellent principals and lecturers.
“Authorities is not going to hesitate to sanction lecturers who reveal indolence and ineptitude of their locations of labor,” she added.
The Everlasting Secretary, Ekiti Educating Service Fee, Mr Michael Boluwade, charged the principals to discourage their lecturers from searching for postings and transfers in the course of periods, stressing that this may have a unfavourable impact on the educational efficiency of the pupils.
Boluwade assured that the fee would proceed to position excessive premium on the welfare of educating and non-teaching employees of secondary faculties in Ekiti State for enhanced productiveness and glorious efficiency of scholars.
