In a deliberate transfer to broaden its presence on the world stage, the Nationwide Examinations Council, NECO, has accredited extra faculties to jot down the Senior Faculty Certificates Examination, SSCE, and the Primary Training Certificates Examination, BECE, in Equitorial Guinea.
Previous to the enlargement coverage, NECO examinations is written by candidates in Benin Republic, Niger Republic, Cote’d Ivoire, Togo, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and presently Equitorial Guinea.
A terse assertion by Azeez Sani, Performing Director, Data and Public Relations on the Council, famous on Wednesday, that the newly accredited faculties are situated in Bata, one of many largest cities in Equitorial Guinea.
He confirmed that the NECO Accreditation Staff had visited the Faculties to evaluate their readiness to jot down the SSCE and BECE.
His phrases, “The Accreditation Staff inspected School rooms, Laboratories, Libraries, Pc Laboratories, workshops, Examination Halls, Sport services and Steady Evaluation (CA) in addition to adequacy of lecturers and faculty safety to find out their suitability and readiness for NECO Examinations.
“After a radical analysis and complete evaluation, the faculties have been granted full SSCE and full BECE accreditation standing,” he acknowledged.
Sani mentioned the accreditation of further international faculties is a testomony to NECO’s dedication to offering high quality training and evaluation past the shores of Nigeria.
