The Chief of the Air Workers (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, says the Federal Authorities has procured 12 plane for Nigerian Air Power (NAF) within the final one 12 months.
Abubakar said this on the Air Battle Course 10/2024 commencement ceremony of the Air Power Battle School Nigeria, on Friday in Makurdi.
He stated the federal authorities deployed the newly acquired platforms to the Service between September 2023 and September 2024, including that the NAF was anticipating to take supply of extra platforms within the coming months.

Earlier, the Minister of Protection, Muhammad Abubakar, stated the nation was presently dealing with multifaceted safety challenges which threatened peace, unity and prosperity.
Represented by Dr Ibrahim Kana, Everlasting Secretary within the ministry, Abubakar enjoined the Armed Forces to offer progressive and proactive strategies to fight safety challenges within the nation.

The Commandant of the School, AVM Adebayo Kehinde stated that 26 members graduated after a 9 months research program.

Kehinde stated the graduates comprised 17 representatives of the NAF, two every from the Nigeria Navy and Nigerian Military, two from the Nationwide Protection School, one from the Ghana Air Power and two from the Cameroon Air Power, respectively.
In line with Kahinde, the following spherical course billed to start in January 2025, could have representatives from 5 extra nations.
