Benue State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Mr. Aondowase Kunde has stated that near 770 households have been displaced as a consequence of floods from the River Benue.
The flooding has most severely affected the Makurdi space, the place displaced residents have taken shelter in momentary camps.
