GUSAU – Former Member of the Home of Representatives in Zamfara State, Hon. Kabiru Yahaya Classic has defected from the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The ex-lawmaker, introduced his defection on Thursday, after assembly with the state APC Chairman Alhaji Tukur Danfulani and Chairman Senator Abdulaziz Yari Political Organisation, Alhaji Lawal M Liman in addition to different Zamfara APC stakeholders in Kaduna.
Traditional represented Anka/ Talata Mafara Federal Constituency between 2019 and 2023 below the umbrella of the PDP.
The previous member, however, joined the APC together with the PDP construction in Talata Mafara Native Authorities Space in addition to 10 out of 11 PDP Ward Chairmales within the space.
In response to him, the defection from the PDP grew to become vital due to the undemocratic tendencies within the state PDP.
“I Kabiru Yahayya Traditional, today, Thursday, November 7, 2024, want to announce my defection from the PDP to the progressive get together, the APC together with all PDP construction, together with the Native Authorities EXCO of the PDP and the ten out of 11 Ward Chairmen of the PDP”, he pressured.
Receiving the lawmaker, the State APC Chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani described Traditional defection as a welcome growth.
Additionally talking, the Chairman of AA Yari’s Political Organisation, Alhaji Lawal Liman, commended Kabiru Traditional and different defectors for becoming a member of the progressive group.
