Havilla College, a privately owned tertiary establishment in Nde-Ikom, has named its new Computing and Sciences college after the Speaker of the tenth Cross River State Home of Meeting, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem.
The Proprietor and Chancellor of the College, Hon. Jones Tangban, acknowledged in the course of the formal presentation of the honour on the Speaker’s workplace that the aim of his go to was to formally inform the Speaker in regards to the newly unveiled college within the establishment named after him, in addition to to thank the Speaker for his excellent contributions to the establishment’s improvement, development, and what he stands for.
In accordance with an announcement by Mr Matthew Okache, Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, on Wednesday, Mr Jones Tangban inspired members of the Home of Meeting to enrol their kids within the College, stating that the College’s newly established schools and programmes have been duly authorised by the Governing Council and related authorities companies.

Accepting the honour, Speaker Ayambem. reaffirmed his dedication to advancing training and the establishment’s improvement and development. He acknowledged that the honour bestowed upon him wouldn’t be simply forgotten.
Additionally reacting, the Chairman of the Home Committee on Schooling, Hon. Martin Achadu, Member representing Yala 2 applauded the College for the honour bestowed upon the speaker in recognition of his dedication to the progress of the establishment and benevolence to his individuals.
He assured that his committee was keen to assist privately owned instructional establishments.
