INEC working on supplementary regulations for election declaration, review – Yakubu — Daily Nigerian

Mr Yakubu made the disclosure at an everyday consultative assembly of Resident Electoral Commissioners, RECs, on Tuesday in Abuja.

He mentioned that the fee was doing this in pursuant to the fee’s energy to challenge laws, pointers and manuals to offer impact to the provisions of Electoral Act.

“As we method the bye-elections, the off-cycle governorship elections and in the end, the 2027 common election, the fee is worried with the varied interpretations given to the availability of Part 65 of the Electoral Act 2022 on the evaluation of election outcomes,” he mentioned.
