The Kaduna State Ministry of Training has condemned the continued strike by the Kaduna State College (KASU) Tutorial Employees Union of Universities (ASUU), calling it an act of sabotage.
In an announcement issued on Friday, the Commissioner for Training, Muhammad Bello, criticized ASUU’s actions, highlighting that the union had remained silent from 2009 to 2024. He claimed that in its newfound assertiveness, the union was now undermining the establishment by embarking on a complete, complete, and indefinite strike.
Bello defined that the dispute with the state authorities revolved round unpaid salaries from Could to September 2022 and educational allowances from 2015 to 2020, amongst different calls for. He assured that Governor Uba Sani was taking steps to deal with these long-standing points, which predate the present administration.
