A Kannywood actress, Maryam Muhammad, popularly generally known as Maryam Malika on Wednesday prayed a Shari’a courtroom sitting in Magajin Gari, Kaduna to verify a divorce pronouncement made by her former husband, Umar .
The actress, represented by her counsel, A.S Ibrahim advised the courtroom that the defendant made the third divorce pronouncement 5 years in the past after she searched for divorce by means of Khul’i (the proper of a girl in Islam to divorce) in Islam.
