The chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Abbas, has mentioned the Minister of State for Housing and City Growth, Yusuf Ata, isn’t a member of the ruling celebration.
He accused the minister of working towards the celebration throughout the 2023 common elections.
Mr Abbas said this whereas reacting to a menace by the minister that he would dump the APC if Mr Abbas is re-elected as state chairman of the APC after serving three phrases.
DAILY NIGERIAN reviews that Mr Ata, whereas addressing celebration stakeholders in Fagge Native Authorities Space throughout the weekend, blamed Mr Abbas for the celebration’s defeat in 2023 governorship election.
Mr Ata had mentioned: “We’re making it clear to everybody, if they keep them, we’ll depart and the celebration will certainly lose once more.
“We aren’t with such individuals, and it doesn’t matter what occurs, we is not going to align with them. They ship us messages, and we reply accordingly.
“We have been raised with good morals; we all know who God is, we respect our students and elders, and we is not going to compromise our values.

However talking throughout an interview with the BBC on Monday, Mr Abbas dismissed Mr Ata’s threats, revealing that he was not inquisitive about turning into the state chairman however contesting for the governorship seat in 2027.
