A Kano state excessive court docket has countered the judgement of the federal excessive court docket which barred Kano State Impartial Electoral Fee, KANSIEC, from conducting Native Authorities Space elections slated for tomorrow (Saturday).
DAILY NIGERIAN studies that Justice Simon Amobeda on Thursday in his ruling banned KANSIEC from conducting the election, saying that “the manager members of the fee are card carrying members of the NNPP”.
However in his judgement on Friday, Justice Sanusi Ma’aji of the state excessive court docket issued a opposite order, directing KANSIEC to go forward with the election slated for Saturday.
