Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District, Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila, has formally confirmed his defection from the New Nigeria Folks’s Social gathering (NNPP), ending weeks of hypothesis.
In a submit shared on his verified Fb web page on Wednesday, Senator Sumaila declared that the rumours surrounding his political transfer have been certainly true.

The announcement comes barely weeks after Sumaila, alongside different notable NNPP lawmakers from Kano together with Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, Aliyu Sani Madaki, and Badamasi Ayuba held a closed-door assembly with chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje in what was broadly seen as a prelude to their exit from the NNPP.
