The Katsina State Authorities on Tuesday inaugurated a seven-member committee to facilitate the graceful conduct of the state’s thirty seventh anniversary celebration, scheduled for Sept. 23.
The committee was inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Authorities, SSG, Abdullahi Garba-Faskari, on behalf of the Gov. Dikko Radda.
Mr Garba-Faskari stated the Governor directed the formation of the committee, with the purpose of reflecting on the state’s achievements and planning for its future.
Mr The inauguration highlighted the importance of the state’s creation on Sept. 23, 1987, and the significance of the milestone.
“The anniversary will present a possibility for us to judge what has been achieved, what we’re at the moment doing, and what we intend to attain sooner or later,” he stated.
The committee, chaired by the SSG, comprised of distinguished figures from throughout the assorted authorities ministries.
Among the many members are: The Head of Civil Service, the Lawyer Basic, Commissioners for Works; Housing and Transport; Lands and Bodily Planning; Data and Tradition, and Ladies Affairs.
