Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Growth has scheduled a gathering with the unions.
The unions; Nationwide Union of Air Transport Staff (NUATE), Affiliation of Nigeria Aviation Professionals (ANAP), Nationwide Affiliation of Plane Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE), Amalgamated Union of Public Companies, Civil Service Technical and Leisure Providers Staff (AUPCTRE) and Air Transport Providers Senior Workers Affiliation of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), had threatened to embark on a protest Wednesday subsequent week throughout all of the nation’s airports over the obligatory deduction of the companies’ 50 per cent Internally Generated Revenues (IGRs).
