Nigeria’s Minister of Inside, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has attributed the current escape of 12 inmates from the Federal Correctional Centre in Koton Karfe, Kogi State, to negligence by some correctional officers, ruling out any exterior assault.
Talking on Channels Tv on Thursday, Tunji-Ojo emphasised that the incident was not a results of a safety breach however reasonably an inner failure.
