The Police Command in Lagos State have on Wednesday dismissed the viral video making the rounds on social media that three alleged kidnappers had been caught in Lagos.
The Command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, in an announcement in Lagos, mentioned that the video was false, deceptive and malicious.
Hundeyin mentioned that the video was meant to trigger concern and apprehension within the hearts of residents.
Earlier, a video was shared by some X customers claiming that three kidnappers had been caught and overwhelmed by a mob for trying to kidnap folks at Victory Property, In the past Okota space of the state.

Hundeyin mentioned that the State Commissioner of Police, CP Moshood Jimoh, held a gathering in response to the viral video whereby some yet-to-be recognized individuals had been seen beating and humiliating three males for being suspected kidnappers.
