The Nationwide Affiliation of Proprietors of Personal Faculties (NAPPS), Lagos State chapter is presently engulfed in disaster, as two factional leaders have emerged.
Already, a faction of the Lagos State Elders Discussion board and the Vice-Chapter Chairperson, Dr Omolayo Shokunbi, have handed a vote of no confidence on the newly elected president of the Lagos chapter, Dr Samuel Bodundeand different officers.
The Nationwide President of the affiliation, Mr Yomi Otubela, had after the election, introduced the suspension of the state chairman, Chief Lukman Yusuf, over allegations of monetary impropriety, unruly behaviour and insubordination to nationwide authority.
At a press briefing final Monday, the Lagos State Elders Discussion board, led by its by its Chairman, Alhaji A.R.A. Bello, and Secretary, Temitope Odutola, condemned the alleged imposition of executives by Otubela.
The group mentioned: “We, the members of Lagos State NAPPS Elders Discussion board, categorically denounce the imposition of some nominated leaders underneath Otubela. We stand on the 2017 NAPPS structure with none type of bias. We advise our nice educators to ignore any name for a gathering or notices from such a bunch.
“We affirm our loyalty to our duly elected president, Lukman Yusuf, the Nationwide President, Hajia Semira Jubril and the Board of Trustees led by Dr. Mujinyawa.”
Equally, Shokunbi, whereas studying a signed communiqué from involved NAPPS Lagos Chapter members, reiterated {that a} vote of no confidence had been handed on Bodunde and the newly elected government.

In a name to motion to all native chapters in Lagos State, NAPPS advised them to “Adhere to the organisation’s guidelines and laws, as mandated by the CAC-approved NAPPS 2023 Structure. Prioritise transparency, accountability, and loyalty to NAPPS, making certain the continued development and success of the organisation.
“Recognise and respect solely CAC-recognised integrated trustees, upholding the legitimacy of the group’s governance construction.
