Tsakani – The Mandlethu Main College learners scooped just a few awards for his or her Maths Olympiad outcomes on the Gauteng East District awards ceremony on August 29 at Laerskool Christiaan Beyers.
Nondumiso Khoza, a Grade Six learner underneath the Tsakani/Geluksdal cluster, was the Maths Olympiad high achiever for 3 consecutive years within the Gauteng East District.
Since coming into the intermediate section (Grades 4 to Six), she has saved a primary place in all of the annual Maths Olympiad competitions.
Maths head, and coach Phindile John describes Nondumiso as an excellent learner since Grade 4.

Nondumiso and three different learners from the varsity obtained trophies, medals and certificates for wonderful achievements within the district.
Amahle Ntshangase, in Grade 5, was second, whereas Oluhle Sibiya, additionally in Grade 5, took first place.
Nondumiso Khoza, in Grade Six, was first, and Ongeziwe Gaca, in Grade 4, achieved second place.
All these high achievers certified for the competitors’s provincial stage, which they wrote on August 26 at Laerskool Choice Park. They eagerly await the outcomes.
The principal, Thembeni Mdhluli, congratulated the winners for his or her excellent performances. She is assured they are going to be on high of the record when the outcomes come out.
