Odedeji disclosed this on Friday in Abeokuta through the inauguration of newly elected members of the establishment’s College students Union Authorities (SUG).
The Rector defined that the loans from the Nigeria Schooling Mortgage Fund (NELFUND) was obtained by the establishment on behalf of the scholars for the fee of their colleges charges.
He expressed concern that majority of the scholars had not taken benefit of the scholars mortgage alternative provided them by the Federal Authorities.
Odedeji appealed to college students to benefit from the initiative, saying it was meant to take off them the stress of working helter-skelter searching for cash to pay faculty charges.
“We found that from our personal aspect, we despatched about 11,000 depth information for NELFUND and NELFUND waited for college students to register.
“It was solely 81 college students from the establishment that registered and utilized, and after screening these 81 college students, 26 college students had been discovered to be certified.
