The Adolescent Women Initiative for Studying and Empowerment (AGILE), in collaboration with the Ministry for Fundamental and Secondary Training, Niger State, has organised a one-day capacity-building workshop on Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) and Gender-Based mostly Violence (GBV), designed for varsity desk officers.
The workshop was held at Academics Home, Tunga Goro, Minna, and had in attendance 302 college desk officers, representing 151 faculties from seven native authorities areas (LGA) Chanchaga, Bosso, Paikoro, Shiroro, Munya, Rafi and Wushishi.In her keynote tackle, the Coordinator of the Adolescent Women Initiative for Studying and Empowerment (AGILE), Niger State, Hajiya Maimuna Ibrahim Tahir, famous that the workshop was geared toward equipping the contributors with the information, expertise, and instruments essential to successfully handle and reply to grievances and instances of gender-based violence of their respective faculties.

Tahir, who spoke by the Deputy Coordinator of AGILE, Salisu Danjuma, promised that the company is dedicated to supporting the varsity desk officers of their essential function and to making sure that faculties throughout the state are free from gender-based violence.
