In conversations with The Bureau Newspaper, a number of motorists expressed deep issues over the persistent ambushes, which have made the street unsafe for vacationers.
Talking on behalf of the motorists, Abubakar Sanusi highlighted the alarming regularity of the assaults, stating that the suspected bandits usually goal vacationers, particularly between Mafara and Gidan Kudu.
“The bandits, suspected to be linked to Bello Turji, assault folks on the street nearly every day. They usually block the street between Mafara and Gidan Kudu, kidnapping travellers,” Sanusi revealed.
He lamented the dearth of efficient motion by safety personnel to handle the state of affairs, emphasizing the pressing want for intervention to make sure the security of street customers.
