The President of the Nigeria Soccer Federation, Ibrahim Gusau, has been elected as the first Vice President of the West African Soccer Union (WAFU) B zone.
The election passed off in Niamey, Niger Republic on Friday, on the margin of this 12 months’s CAF African Faculties Soccer Championship (WAFU B qualifying event) happening in that nation.
President of the Ghana Soccer Affiliation, Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku, was elected President of the zone, whereas Oumarou Sawadogo, president of the Burkinabe Soccer Federation, was elected because the 2nd Vice President.
The WAFU B zone is made up of seven international locations – Nigeria, Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Cote d’Ivoire.
