Nigeria, Africa and the U.S. are set to develop a strategic financial and safety partnership.
Consistent with this, President Bola Tinubu held a gathering with Mr Massad Boulos, U.S. Senior Advisor for Africa, on Thursday in Paris, France.
Bayo Onanuga, the president’s spokesman, stated in an announcement on Sunday, that the assembly targeted on growing a strategic financial and safety partnership between Nigeria, Africa, and the USA anchored on mutual respect, prosperity, and regional stability.
“The U.S. State Division consultant conveyed President Trump’s robust curiosity in deepening direct engagement with Nigeria as a cornerstone of U.S. relations with Africa.
“The U.S. needed to work carefully with President Tinubu to develop American funding in Nigeria and Africa, assist power and infrastructure improvement, and align commerce and job creation efforts.
“Either side mentioned actionable assist and shared their views on regional peace, notably within the jap Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and throughout the Sahel,” stated the assertion.
In response to the assertion, President Trump’s advisor recognised Nigeria’s regional and continental management and supported President Tinubu’s interventions to stabilise key African areas.
It stated Mr Tinubu reiterated Nigeria’s readiness to construct productive alliances with the USA, centered on transparency, alternative, mutual respect and outcomes that strengthen Africa’s place within the world financial system.
