The Cinema Exhibitors Affiliation of Nigeria (CEAN), says the Nigerian movie trade has skilled a major surge with the Field Workplace recording a powerful 60 per cent improve in 2024.
Mr Ope Ajayi, CEAN’s Nationwide Chairman revealed this whereas talking with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN), in Lagos.

He mentioned in 2024, the cinemas accomodated no fewer than 2.66million individuals and a pair of.54million individuals in 2023.

He mentioned “Everyone Loves Jennifer” raked in N1.124billion, “Queen Lateefah” made N365.5million, “Ajosepo” scooped in N257.3million, “Ajakaju” made N252.8million whereas “Alakada Dangerous &Boujee” raked in N229.1million.
“Everyone Loves Jennifer and Alakada Dangerous & Boujee are nonetheless in cinemas.”
Ajayi famous that the highest 5 Hollywood movies in 2024 have been: Deadpool & Wolverine, Dangerous Boys 4, Gladiator II, Moana 2 and Venom 3.
