The Nigerian Meteorological Company, NiMet, has predicted thunderstorms from Thursday to Saturday throughout the nation.
NiMet’s climate outlook launched on Tuesday in Abuja envisaged thunderstorms over components of Adamawa, Taraba, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara and Kaduna States throughout Wednesday’s morning hours.
In keeping with NiMet, thunderstorms are anticipated over components of Bauchi, Adamawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara, Borno and Kebbi states later within the day.
“Within the North central area, thunderstorms are envisaged over components of the Federal Capital Territory, Niger, Nasarawa and Benue States throughout the morning hours.

“Within the southern area there are prospects of thunderstorms over components of Ondo, Ebonyi, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states throughout the morning hours,” it stated.

The company predicted thunderstorms over components of Adamawa, Taraba and Kebbi States within the Thursday morning hours.
It anticipated thunderstorms over components of Kaduna, Adamawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Taraba, Sokoto and Zamfara States later within the day.
