The Nigerian Meteorological Company, NiMet, has predicted thundery and wet climate circumstances from Tuesday to Thursday throughout the nation.
NiMet`s climate outlook launched on Monday in Abuja forecast thunderstorms over elements of Bauchi, Kebbi, Taraba, Kano, Katsina, Adamawa and Kaduna states through the morning hours on Tuesday.

“Within the North Central area, thunderstorms are anticipated over elements of Kogi, Benue, Plateau, Federal Capital Territory, Nasarawa and Niger states through the morning hours.

“ Within the southern area, there are prospects of average rains over elements of Ebonyi, Imo, Enugu, Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Cross River, Rivers and Bayelsa states through the morning hours.

The company envisaged thunderstorms over elements of Taraba, Adamawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, Kano and Kaduna states within the Wednesday `s morning hours.
In line with NiMet, thunderstorms are anticipated over elements of Borno, Gombe, Adamawa, Taraba, Kano, Katsina and Kebbi states later within the day.
“Within the North Central area, there are prospects of thunderstorms over elements of the Federal Capital Territory, Kogi, Niger and Kwara states through the morning hours.

“ Within the southern area, thunderstorms are anticipated over elements of Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Enugu, Imo, Edo, Cross River, Delta, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa states through the morning hours.
“Progressing into the afternoon and night hours, thunderstorms are envisaged over the complete area,” it stated.
NiMet anticipated thunderstorms over elements of Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba and Adamawa States within the Thursday`s morning interval.
The company predicted thunderstorms over elements of Borno, Bauchi, Kaduna, Taraba and Adamawa states later within the day whereas thunderstorms are anticipated over elements of Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory.
