The favored actress reportedly died on Friday after a quick sickness.
Film producer Stanley Ajemba, aka Stanley Ontop, confirmed her demise on Saturday.
Alongside her image, he wrote on Instagram:
“Nollywood in tears as we misplaced certainly one of our vibrant Nollywood actresses, @nkechi.nweje, after a quick sickness.
“Couldn’t submit since morning as a result of it was like a dream to me. Ezigbo Nwanyi Onitsha.
“Relaxation in peace, ma’am. My greatest pal, she at all times referred to as me on the telephone, advising me. The final time we spoke was in the course of the Queenth saga. She mentioned, ‘Ontop, cease.’ I’m nonetheless speechless.”
She is survived by her husband and 6 kids.
