Income and Anti-Smuggling Achievements
Babandede revealed that the Command was tasked with producing ₦618 billion in 2024. By December 31, it had generated ₦634 billion, exceeding the goal by ₦16 billion. This marks a 98% improve in comparison with 2023, when ₦321 billion was collected.
In anti-smuggling operations, the Command recorded 76 container seizures in 2024, together with arms, ammunition, illicit medication, vegetable oil, footwear, donkey pores and skin, and used clothes, with a DPV of ₦150.87 billion.
Export Milestones
On the export entrance, the Command processed 2,707,339.22 metric tonnes of products, together with sesame seeds, aluminum ingots, granular urea, wheat bran, and orange peel. These exports had a Free on Board (FOB) worth of $952,986,490.99, equal to ₦1.26 trillion.
Recognition and Promotions
