The Oyo State Authorities, via the Ministry of Atmosphere and Pure Assets has sealed Kilimanjaro, a well-liked eatery over alleged violation of environmental legal guidelines.
The eatery located on the Ojoo space of Ibadan, the state capital was accused of violating environmental legal guidelines on waste administration.
Environmental well being officers sealed the Ojoo outlet of the eatery for participating unregistered waste contractors.
The officers, led by the Commissioner, AbdulMojeed Mogbonjubola, continued to make progress in sanitising the state within the strides in direction of imposing the environmental legal guidelines.
This improvement was in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s dedication to upholding environmental requirements.
It will be recalled that Governor Makinde signed the institution of the Oyo State Rule of Legislation Enforcement Authority into legislation on April 12, 2024.
The Authority oversees the implementation of environmental and well being laws within the state.
