The Govt Secretary of the Common Primary Training Fee (UBEC), Aisha Garba, has attributed the dearth of serious improvement of primary schooling in Nigeria, to poor coordination and weak partnerships between vital stakeholders within the sector.
She significantly lamented what she described as ‘inconsistent’ collaboration amongst UBEC, States Common Primary Training Boards (SUBEBs), and Ministries of Training, leading to inefficiencies, poor monitoring, and low-impact of academic interventions.
The UBEC boss highlighted the importance of efficient synergy and collaboration, saying the gathering was a testomony to the collective dedication to make sure that each Nigerian baby has entry to high quality primary schooling, no matter their location or background.
