The Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Firm Restricted (NNPCL) has denied media report (not LEADERSHIP) that Port Harcourt Refinery was inactive, insisting that the newly rehabilitated refinery was nonetheless purposeful opposite to studies making the rounds.
The nationwide oil firm stated preparation for the day’s loading operation is at the moment ongoing on Saturday.
NNPC spokesman, Olufemi Soneye, in an announcement on Saturday morning, stated, “The eye of the Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Firm Restricted (NNPC Ltd) has been drawn to studies in a piece of the media alleging that the Previous Port Harcourt Refinery which was re-streamed two months in the past has been shut down.
“We want to make clear that such studies are completely false because the refinery is totally operational as verified just a few days in the past by former group managing administrators of NNPC.
“Preparation for the day’s loading operation is at the moment ongoing.
“Members of the general public are suggested to discountenance such studies as they’re the figments of the creativeness of those that need to create synthetic shortage and rip-off Nigerians.”
