Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has authorised the reappointment of Professor Abdullahi Mustapha because the Director Normal of the Nationwide Biotechnology Analysis and Improvement Company (NBRDA) for a second five-year time period.
The announcement was made public by way of a press assertion launched on Saturday by Toyin Omozuwa, the press secretary to the NBRDA Director Normal.
Professor Mustapha’s reappointment was formally conveyed in a letter from the Secretary to the Authorities of the Federation (SGF), George Akume.
His second tenure will begin on October 31, 2024, as stipulated by the Nationwide Biotechnology Improvement Company (Institution) Act, 2022, Part 10 (1) and (3).
